Sweet and Sour Bar- B -Cue Beans:

4 Strips of bacon
1 Red pepper- diced
1/2 Lb. ground meat
1/2 Cup ketchup
1 large can B& M Baked Beans
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Can Red Kidney Beans (drain & rinse)
1/4 Cup yellow mustard
1 Can Garbanzo Beans (drain & rinse)
1/4 Cup Molasses
1 Cup sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
1 onion- diced
2 Tbls spicy garlic

Fry bacon until crisp, and place bacon on a fat mat. Drain grease from the skillet, then brown ground meat. Add onions and pepper. Place all of the beans in a large pot, add meat, onions, spicy garlic and peppers and let simmer for 20 minutes. Mix together, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and molasses, add to the beans. Simmer another 30 minutes. Top with cheese, and place in the oven until the cheese melts. Crumble bacon on top just before serving.

*This dish should be held hot at 135 degrees. Do not store at room temperature for over 2 hours.
