Georgia Hot Grits with Sausage:
4 cups of water 1 tsp of salt 1
cup Quick Grits 4 eggs beaten 1 cup milk 1 lb cooked and drained hot
sausage 1/12 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8
tsp Garlic Powder 2/3 cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring
water to a boil,add grits and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Combine
eggs,grits,sausage,1 cup cheese,pepper,garlic powder,milk and butter.
Blend
well.
Coat 3 qt baking dish with cooking spray, add grits mixture. Top with
remainder of the cheese and bake 45 to 50 minutes. Remove and let stand
for
10 minutes before serving.
